Tommy’s educational journey began at Florida A&M University, where he earned his MBA from the prestigious School of Business & Industry. The program’s rigorous curriculum, which placed a strong emphasis on Accounting and Finance, provided Tommy with the technical foundational necessary to pursue a career in the world of finance.

As part of the MBA program requirements, Tommy completed several internships, one of which was at the renowned asset management firm, Ariel Investments. During his time there, he gained valuable insight into the patience, discipline, and expertise required to excel in asset management.

After graduating, Tommy’s career took him into the insurance industry, where he gained valuable experience in both sales and marketing with Endow, Inc., and as an Internal Wholesaler for Pacific Life Insurance. These roles allowed him to develop a deep understanding of risk management and how to balance profitability with financial prudence—a perspective he would carry with him into his future roles.

In 2016, Tommy transitioned into the world of film production with David Alexander, Inc., a Chicago-based production company, where he initially served as an Accountant. Over time, Tommy’s role evolved into that of a Fractional CFO, where he provided strategic financial oversight, optimized cash flow, and helped the company navigate financial complexities while scaling its operations. Tommy’s experience with David Alexander enhanced his strategic mindset and further deepened his expertise in managing financial risk and growth, particularly in the fast-paced, project-based nature of film production.

As a Fractional CFO, Tommy now works with a diverse range of businesses, offering tailored financial leadership for companies seeking growth, stability, and profitability. Whether helping startups optimize their finances, providing budgeting and forecasting guidance, or managing cash flow for established firms, Tommy’s expertise enables his clients to make informed decisions and build a solid financial foundation for the future.
